Committees

The WCPD2011 is made possible by many committee and panel members. The names and organisations of which will be added to and finalised over the next year. The committees and panels to date are as follows:

Organising Committee

The Conference Organising Committee will oversee the conference development and delivery. This committee will consist of representatives of key partners; Royal Life Saving Society - Australia, The Alliance for Safe Children, the International Life Saving Federation conference liaison representative, the Vietnam Government partner representative, and other partners as required. The conference organising committee will be confirmed in the near future. In the meantime principal contacts are as follows:

Vietnam Local Organising Committee

A Vietnamese Local Organising  committee will be formed and announced in coming months. The purpose of this committee is to ensure engagement during the conference development and delivery period, and facilitate local participation in presentations, workshops and other conference activities.

Program Committee

The program committee will oversee the development of the scientific and social aspects of the conference program. The program committee will consist of representatives of the conference partner agencies, as well as other interested parties. The program committee membership will be announced in the near future.

Thematic Review Committees

Thematic review committees have been convened to review abstracts in each of the areas of the scientific program. These committees include representatives of related ILS committees, as well as other experts from each field. The abstract review process will be facilitated via an online management system, which will enable broad participation in this review process.
